Funny of the day: While wearing mask remember you can't take your pills, they don't seem to go thru that damn mask.
Frank tried this today, after he had his blood drawn, I laughed my _ _ _ off! I even think he tried it twice.
New Rule of the day: You all are going to love this, you can hug Frank or be around him as long as you are not sick! Foam in & Foam out!
(Wash hands)
Blood Levels: all labs were good!
Sutures: The stitches from the 2 garden hoses were removed.
Echo test - no results
Biopsy: no results till tomorrow afternoon.
You will be awake and conscious during the entire procedure. The doctor will use medication to numb the area of your neck. A plastic introducer sheath (a short, hollow tube through which the catheter is placed) is inserted into a blood vessel. A bioptome will be inserted through the sheath and threaded to your right ventricle. An X-ray camera may be used to position the bioptome properly. The procedure took 35 min.
Throne: took a stool culture to see if there is infection.
Outing of the day: Missouri Baking Company - yummie Rozann
Results tomorrow... sometime in the afternoon...blog you then :) Cheers Frank & Susan

Good Evening Frank/Susan
ReplyDeleteWow - What a day you've had. Frank hope tomorrow you'll be feeling better. So what did you order at the Baking Co. ??? Susan - I hope you still have that sign....Foam In/Foam Out....
Have a good evening - Hope you both get some rest.
Love ya
Concetta
Yea, So glad about the huging! That would have been a real challenge for the family. If you are going to wear the face mask the least they could do is give you the rest of the out fit ( surgeon hat, mask, shirt) so you can at least look like a doctor. Carla
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good but long day! Get some rest you two! Frank, I think it is just wrong that they don't make the mask more sccomodating for pill taking! I sure hope you are feeling better. If you are ready for another outing, (I grew up in St. Louis, you know!) visit my friends place. It is a small deli, nothing fancy but the food, unbelievable! It is called Adriana's. It is on the hill at 5101 Shaw. Suzanne is my girlfriend since 7th grade. She and her mom Adriana have owned the place for years. If you make it, tell them hello for me! They are only open for lunch so check out the hours before you venture out. Great, crazy, people! Suzanne is the reason I married an Italian - great people, great food.
ReplyDeletePraying all the time for you two.
Cheers to you, Shannon
Shannon, I thought you married Anthony so that your brother Mike and I could be both Frat brothers and psuedo in-law cousins.
ReplyDeleteFrank, you're still looking good!!!!
Phil
Hi all, Shannon, OMG, I have been to Adriana 3 times and I sat down with Adriana and told her all about Frank the other day. She told me all about her grandchild's Miracle. What a small world! I went there yesterday and I order a 9" pizza (delicious) she was so sweet she changed the pizza to a 14",paid the difference, told me to give Frank a hug and let him know that she wanted to do this for him. Is Anthony happy about the hugging thing, I know Carla up above your blog is. Carla your right he does need the whole outfit, maybe we all can get one and have doctor/nurse party when we get back and we won't have to worry about germs. Bye all!
ReplyDeleteFrank
ReplyDeleteHave you considered a job as a dentist ? You would look good in a white coat, your used to working with tools and you already have a mask . Your still looking great.Hope and pray the results are good today . We will see you at home soon.
Ron
Good Morning Frank/Susan

Love ya
Concetta
Susan, If you go back to Adriana's make sure you tell them you are my cousin. I know Suzanne knows my married name but Adriana may not. She may only know me as Shannon O'Neill, Suzy's friend. I can't believe you have been there 3 times already. Too funny! Yes, Anthony is happy about the hugging. I'll make sure to keep him healthy so he can hug Frank until Frank gets sick of him. Phil, your right! I married Anthony so we could all be cousins. Smart move on my part! Take care, love you guys, Shannon
ReplyDeleteWe are still praying and won't stop any time soon, my dear friends. I check this blog more than I do my own email! Take care and I truly hope to see you both at Mass! Love, Susie
ReplyDeleteFrank - You're not smiling! Your eyes slant when you smile, I'm not falling for it. Although, I can see you trying to take your pills through your mask. Kind of reminded me of the time Byron Bray(remember him?) was trying to drink a fruity drink in Cancun and forgot about the little umbrella and got it stuck up his nose when he took a drink!
ReplyDeleteI was going to hug you anyway!
I'll check back later for your results...
Angie
Shannon, OMG again, I left a message for Adriana letting her know what a small world it is. I just got off the phone with her and she wants to give you a BIG FAT HUG, all she kept saying is she can't believe it. That you and Suzanne were inseparable, I had to tell her about the blog so you would know how this all came a bought. Read her your comments and she laughed and said, yes she made you italian!
ReplyDeleteAngie, I'm LOL, I told Frank the same thing and he said he was, I don't see the slant either, LOL!
ReplyDeleteLOL about the straw thing, I did that also and it hurt bad! and the funny thing is that it keeps happening only with clear straws! Angie, now don't go and stock up your cabinets with clear straws!(Iknow you:) ) LOL! Still waiting for the results....
Susie, Frank is honored that his blog is number 1 over your own emails. He wouldn't want it any other way! Thanks for the continued prayers as we wait for the results and lets not forget the THRONE results as well!
